Hemingway

Hemingway is legend. His style is one that isn't easy to emulate. He is a writer who expresses real life using fiction; capable of making world famous pieces while going through the struggles of the everyday human. Hemingway's writing was influenced by Mark Twain. Had he surpassed his idol? Many could argue yes or no.
Hemingway's personal life often showed in his writings, characters in his pieces came from those who had an impact on his life. Hemingway portraying himself with the character Nick Adams allows us to have an insight on his life by the iceberg theory. In many of his short stories Nick Adams appears i.e. "Big Two-Hearted River" and "A Way You'll Never Be". His writing is vivid, it's realistic, and every piece has a message of some sort. He was a great author who saw writing beyond just a pen and paper.
